Watch Your Favourite Videos To The Sounds Of The Vuvuzela

24th June 2010 |  Written by admin

Forget stroppy players, new balls and poor pitches – the highlight (or lowlight depending on your viewpoint) of this World Cup has been the incessant drone from the Vuvuzela.

Personally, I don’t mind it too much, it drowns out the likes of Mick McCarthy and Mark Bright’s incessant droning, but you can see why it annoys.

Which is why it comes as a surprise that YouTube have introduced a Vuvuzela button to their videos that allows you to watch clips to the sound of your favourite South African football horn:

Quite why you would want to do this, I don’t know.

If you do like the Vuvuzela, and want to annoy your mates by giving them the horn, you can download the iPhone app here:

I find this way far more covert than the real thing, and as equally as annoying.

The Vuvuzela annoyed me at first, but now I can’t notice it. I’d much rather have the drone of the Vuvuzela than drunken, loud chants from the crowd.
