To Tweet Or Not To Tweet?

Social media policies are becoming increasingly popular in the workplace nowadays, although this comes as no surprise as you see PR disasters happening every month as a result of one tweet. One recent update from Twitter is the introduction of users galleries that are appear on the right of profiles now. This new feature is extremely prominent on profile pages and could potentially cause some problems depending on what pictures have been uploaded. You can’t control the images unless you delete the images either.

With that in mind, here is an infographic about how many companies have now banned or started monitoring social media within the workplace. The infrographic also looks as two approaches in which you can take, ‘Protect Brand Image At All Costs’ and ‘Use Social Media To Increase Brand Awareness’. However it isn’t as simple as choosing one approach as you need to protect your brand image in any social media campaign or strategy you undertake.
