SES London – What We’re Looking Forward To

We’re well into February now and it’s time for conferences, which is great news for us here at Return On Digital as we will be attending SES London next week and we are all pretty excited.  SES is one of, if not the biggest search conference in Europe and as a result attracts all the big names from the industry from both sides of the pond.

Looking through the agenda we’ve picked out 3 of the sessions that we’re most looking forward to, we would also be interested to know which one’s you’ll be attending and why, or if you have any search conference tips?

Be Awesome: Ideas for Approaching Search Analytics Differently – Keynote by Avinash Kaushik

The keynote speech is going to be unmissable.  Avinash is an authority on Analytics, what he doesn’t know about Analytics  really isn’t worth knowing.  His blog is one of the most comprehensive resources on search analytics and is still updated regualrly with cool analytics tips, tricks and methods.

PPC or SEO? The Ultimate Search Marketing Battle

Batman vs. The Joker, The Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan and now PPC is up against SEO in a battle for cost effectiveness.  The panel for this one almost guarantees the fight will be a good one and with panel members from both sides of the Atlantic it will be good to hear the different approaches.  Will it be a fair battle, guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Bryan Eisenberg is going to discuss a subject that is dear to the hearts of all of us at Return on Digital, Conversion.  We’re always looking for conversion tips and how to increase the return for all of our clients so having the chance to listen to someone with the experience of Bryan should arm us with some tips we can start putting to use straight away.

Meeting Other Search Professionals

We all like to socialise with other search marketers and those who work in the search industry.  If we have to attend a few public houses or bars at the end of the day to do it, in the name of search we will!
