Interning at Return on Digital

Gaby-profile

Throughout my final year at Manchester Metropolitan University, I have been lucky

enough to work at Return on Digital part-time as a Digital Marketing Intern. I was immediately made to feel welcome at the agency and given all the training and help I needed so that I could make a valued contribution. I worked within the Social Media team and the Content and Outreach teams so have never once been bored!

Aside from gaining a good understanding of the digital marketing industry, the best thing about working at the agency has been getting to know the lovely, talented and passionate people that gel incredibly well as a team. I can genuinely say that every Sunday evening I have looked forward to work.

I study International Consumer Marketing and my internship has really complimented my course. As every employer will know, it is simply not enough to have a degree. Work experience is essential and becoming more so with the number of graduates increasing year on year. My time here has helped me figure out my strengths and what I want to do in my career. I am so far finding that my CV is getting noticed because of my internship.

I have worked on some amazing campaigns and grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to learn as much as I have from the team. I’m leaving to complete my degree, and would relish the opportunity to work at Return on Digital in the future.
