In Case Of Emergency Use Social Media [Infographic]

Ok so we’ve all been in some sort of emergency whether you’ve forgotten your phone, or ladies your make up! Ok I mean real emergencies such as hurricanes, earthquakes and floods. These greanted don’t happen very often in the UK, if at all, but considering we are supposed to have snow arriving in two weeks you never know.

It may come as no surprise that people instantly turn to Social Media to report an emergency, just take the plane crash in 2009 into the Hudson River, New York. Social Media isn’t just used to report news, it is also used to find people, for example people used SM to find loved ones during the Japan Earthquake.
