Tips To Improve Your Business On Social Networks

We survived the Manchester riots here at Return On Digital, so thought we would give you some tips on how to improve your business via social media. So you want to try and use social media to convert more customers, but don’t know how, well there are a few steps that you need to follow. There are lots of ways you can use social media to convert followers into paying clients, here are just a few:

1) Allow customers to book an appointment via a tweet or book an order on Facebook – this allows customers to make an immediate purchase or booking without leaving their preferred social network. A brilliant example of this can be seen by Ollie & Darsh, a dentist in Liverpool:

2) Hook potential customers by giving away free and promotional stuff – this encourages customers to get involved in your social network. I experienced a new one today that definitely encouraged me to sign up, and this was Bacardi. If you want a free bottle of a Bacardi mixer drink click here, although hurry – last time I got looked there was only around 2,000 bottles left. Not that I am trying to encourage drinking of course!

3) Use your blog as a method of customer interaction and feedback – this again will encourage customers to interact and increase exposure for your brand. Social Media Examiner use their platform to respond to customers and give them advice about their area of expertise.

4) Sell and promote your products and services – through promoting your products and services on your page your audience are able to track promotion and new products that you may offer. It is also can be beneficial to create a custom tab so people can potentially purchase your good without leaving Facebook.

Some other secrets of social media conversion can be seen in the infographic below. Obviously we don’t want to give everything away, so contact us at Return On Digital to learn more, improve or start your social media campaign today.
