Today’s Google Logo sees a Happy Holidays message with a mocking image of sunnier climes.
Suspect there’ll be a few more of these to come this week though with the way the weather is going a Day After Tomorrow theme would be more apt than a desert island.

Google Doodles Fight Back Against Spam

Who is E.C.Segar? No idea, though Google are today celebrating his birthday. It’s a good job he is/was the man behind Popeye as it makes for a pretty decent logo, probably my favourite of late:
